BBI Enzymes (BBI) strengthens its sales and marketing team with two new appointments and a move to capitalise on Group experience.
Sales Manager for Europe, Deborah Davies joins BBI with a biotechnology background and many years experience working with diagnostic and life science companies. Deborah brings a wealth of knowledge in enzyme technology to BBI, having spent the last 7 years developing enzyme business within the global food ingredients markets.
Katharine Rees has joined in the capacity of Enzymes Marketing Manager, whose primary focus will be to work with the sales team to generate and drive new business. Katharine has over 7 years experience in marketing and business development and brings a great foundation in order to be able to drive BBI Enzymes to the next level.
In addition to its two new appointments, BBI has made a move to capitalise on existing experience within the organisation by giving Group responsibility to two of its proven Senior Managers.
Head of Sales, Leigh Thomas is a sales professional with 15 years experience in Business to Business sales and negotiation. Leigh joined BBInternational, the diagnostics division of BBI, in 2003 and has a proven track record of delivering on the rapid growth strategy of the company. Leigh and his team are focussed on delivering high quality end to end services to BBI’s many customers, while ensuring continued commercial success through new business development.
Head of Marketing, Penny McCormick has been with BBI since 2005 and has worked across the complete product portfolio during her tenure. Like Leigh, Penny will have overall responsibility for Marketing across the Group, responsible for driving the BBI brand to a market leading position and growing BBI’s range of products.
