All our Products are packed to order from bulk stock. Therefore, we do not have set order quantities.

Sub Packing Charge There is a Sub Packing Charge of GBP5.00 : Euro7.50 : $5.25 for Every Sub Pack. We do not charge for the First Sub Pack. For example, the charge for 10 x Sub Packs = 9 x GBP5.00 = GBP 45.00 : Euro 67.50 : Dollar 47.25. However, please be advised there is NO Charge for up to 5 Sub Packs.

If you do not have an Account with us, for your first order we would provide you with a Proforma Invoice (Prepayment). As soon as we receive payment we would despatch the material immediately.

If you would like to open an Account with us we would require the names, addresses, telephone and fax numbers of two trade references (This is usually two companies you regularly purchase from). Once an Account is set up our Terms are 30 Days Nett.

Storage: On receipt long term storage at below -15⁰C is recommended You will receive a “Handling of Lyophilized Enzyme Products” advice sheet with your Purchase Order. Liquid Products: Transportation : Liquid products are shipped worldwide from Blaenavon, UK at ambient temperature. Storage: On receipt long term storage at 2-8⁰C is recommended Please be advised that we do not ship our products with dry ice. Product may be shipped with ice. Ice packs if requested, but shipment at ambient temperature is employed and does not adversely affect the stability of the enzyme products.

Our Company is not affected by the REACH legislation.

We do not have CE Certification for our products but all product manufacture, packaging, labelling and shipment are covered by our ISO 9001:2008 certified quality system. We are a registered Technical Plant for the handling of animal by products in accordance with the EU 1774/2002 regulation.

No items are returnable without the prior authorization from BBI Enzymes Limited. No complaints or returns will be considered after a period of 30 days has elapsed from the original shipment date. A restocking fee of 25% of the value of each item will be charged to customers returning goods ordered erroneously.

Material Safety data sheets are supplied with each product indicating safe handling and disposal guidelines. Products should only be handled by trained personnel using normal laboratory safety procedures LIMITED WARRANTY BBI Enzymes Ltd warrants, to the original purchaser only, that the products conform to the specification given in the accompanying certificate of analysis at the time of shipment. BBI Enzymes Ltd makes no other warranty, expressed or implied with respect to the product fitness for any particular purpose. Should this warranty not be complied with, BBI Enzymes Ltd will issue either a credit note or replacement material (at our discretion) for the unused portion of the goods, provided that claims are made within 30 days of the shipment date. BBI Enzymes shall not be liable for the use or handling of the product or for consequential, special, indirect or incidental damages resulting there from. The purchaser shall be responsible for patent infringements resulting from the use of any of these products.

Available in 10 grades of varying activity
Grades G02A ,G02AS, GO2BS, G03B2 are particularly suitable for glucose determination in conjunction with Peroxidase.
Grade G03A is suitable for most biosensor applications
Grade G03AC has low catalase activities (less than 0.01 U/mg material) and is excellent for use in certain biosensors (higher purity).
Grade G03S is suitable for immunolabelling (liquid form).

Glucose Oxidase is very stable when held in a desiccated, sealed container and the activity and quality of the product will not be compromised during ambient temperature shipment. An accelerated stability trial for GO3B2 shows the product to lose less than 5% activity when held at 37 degrees C for 40 days.

We ship Alkaline Phosphatase products at ambient temperature to worldwide destinations.
We have over 30 years experience in handling Alkaline Phosphatase products and are confident that shipping at ambient temperature, a practice that we have used for many years, has no detrimental effect on the quality and stability of the products.

In-house stability data at 37degreesC shows the material to retain its activity for at least 30 days at this temperature, and stability trials at the recommended storage temperature of between 2 and 8degreesC show the material to remain stable for at least 24 months.
Glycerol solutions (suffixed “G”)
Available as clear, almost colourless solutions in 50% glycerol, containing 0.005M Tris/HCI, 0.005M magnesium chloride and 0.0001M zinc chloride, pH approximately 7.0.
TEA solutions (suffixed “T”)
Available as clear, almost colourless solutions in 0.03M triethanolamine buffer pH 7.6, containing 3M sodium chloride, 0.005M magnesium chloride ad 0.0002M zinc chloride.

1. Immunolabelling
2. ALPIW1, ALPIS1 and ALPI6G are suitable for inclusion in ALP based immunoassay systems in order to block interference arising from patient samples.

• Grades ALP113G, ALPI12G and ALPI11G are widely used as marker enzymes for ELISA application
• Grades ALPIW1, ALPIS1 and ALPI6G are used in alkaline phosphatase based immunoassay systems in order to block interference arising from paitient samples
• Grades ALPI2 and ALPI3 are suitable for use as serum controls

The isoelectric point of HRP4 is 8.5

The isoelectric point of HRP5 is 4.0

• Grades HRP4 and HRP4B are suitable for immunolabelling
• APO HRP can be used to block interference arising from patient samples.
• Codes HRP3C and HRP4C are especially suitable as indicator enzymes for reactions in which hydrogen peroxide is produced.

For use as an enzyme label, e.g. in ELISA systems
As an indicator enzyme for reactions in which Peroxide is produced, e.g. in conjunction with Glucose Oxidase for determination of glucose in biological fluids.

As a molecular weight marker

• RNI, RN1F, RN2 and RN3 are suitable for the isolation of DNA for RNA free DNA.
• RN3 has been tested to be free of DNase. However, for all preparations it is common practice to heat treat the enzyme prior to use to ensure that no residual DNase activity remains.
• Suitable for use as a molecular weight marker.
