About BBI Enzymes 

BBI Enzymes was launched in 2009 following the acquisition by BBI Holdings Plc of Biozyme Laboratories (UK) and Seravac Pty (SA). The company employs over 100 personnel in its USA, UK and South Africa facilities.

The company has nurtured a global customer base of blue chip customers operating within the highly regulated diagnostic and pharmaceutical markets and has earned a reputation for stringent adherence to internationally accredited quality procedures.

Most recently BBI Enzymes completed a multi-million pound investment programme which commenced in early 2009, and completed in 2011. This significant investment has been made in BBI’s plant, equipment, processes and people, thus guaranteeing the most up to date processes and facilities within the industry. For the customer this translates into high volume batch capability, guaranteed supply, and a commitment to the development of bespoke products.

A proud heritage continues to surround the business and in 2005 the South Africa facility celebrated its 50th anniversary, making it the most established company operating within the natural enzymes marketplace today.
